Award winners to be announced at next week's event in New York City
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events for IT markets, today announced finalists for the LinuxWorld Open Source Product Excellence Awards, to be presented at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo next week. Sponsored by OSDN and presented in conjunction with the UniForum Association, the Open Source Product Excellence Awards recognize Open Source product and service innovations by LinuxWorld exhibitors.
LinuxWorld Conference & Expo, the premier event exclusively focused on Linux and Open Source solutions, will take place January 21-24, 2003 at New York City's Javits Center. The Open Source Product Excellence Awards will be presented in a ceremony held on the LinuxWorld show floor on Wednesday, January 22 at 4:30 p.m.
The Open Source Product Excellence Awards are divided into ten product categories, representing major areas of innovation in the Linux and Open Source community. For the first time this year, Awards will be presented to the Best Front Office Solution, Best Cluster Solution and Best Sys Admin Tools.
