Teri Spencer President and Chief Executive Officer As co-founder, President and CEO, Teri sets the pace to reach the company goals. Under her leadership, Ephibian has grown from a few people in a garage to a company providing innovative software solutions to over 400 companies around the world including AOL, Intuit, Honda, AT&T, IBM, Marriott, Hughes, Sears, Tosco (Circle K and 76), UUNET, and Bell Atlantic to name a few. Her ideas on technology have been published in several magazines and books including Dot-Com Successes and Inside Business Incubators & Corporate Ventures. She has received the Arizona Technology Council’s President of the Year Award, The Business Journal’s Top 40 Executives under Age 40 Award, The University of Arizona Electrical and Computer Engineering Department’s Distinguished Alumni Award and the University of Arizona's Shaping the Future Award. Before starting Ephibian, Teri was a lead Systems Engineer for the U.S. Army where she led a team of several hundred engineers. They were responsible for the design and development of many projects valued at more than $100 million. Over her career, she and her team deployed networks, systems and software solutions to more than 100 Army bases worldwide and developed the Army's first integrated enterprise management solution. This enterprise management solution saved the Army over $80 million in annual personnel costs. Teri received the Secretary of the Army's Award for Outstanding Achievement and the prestigious Secretary of Defenses Award for Outstanding Performance. In addition to her duties at Ephibian, Teri has served on the boards of, among others, Miltope Corporation, Phoenix Group International, Fitrex, Decimal Incorporated, and the Eller College National Board of Advisors. She is a member of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council and Arizona Technology Council. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona. She was a founding member of the University of Arizona chapter (Ioti Xi) of the International Electrical Engineering Honor Society, Eta Kappa Nu. |
Phil Holton Chief Operations Officer As co-founder and COO, Phil is responsible for executing the strategic initiatives to realize the company's vision. He has oversight responsibility for all Ephibian partnerships, contracts, projects and proposals. Phil has demonstrated an ability to run large engineering teams that tackle the most demanding problems on time and under budget. Before Ephibian, Phil worked for the U.S. Army as a Systems Engineer where he led several multi-million dollar projects. He served as Deputy Systems Engineer on the Army's billion-dollar information systems redesign, and led the team that implemented the Army's Standard Network and System Management solution. He was continuously assigned to some of the Army's largest and most complex automation initiatives. He received several awards and recognition from General level officers and Program Executive Officers. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona. |
Lee Le Clair Chief Technology Officer As co-founder and CTO, Lee drives the technical vision which is focused on delivering quality solutions to our clients. Under his leadership, Ephibian has developed a technically elite team that has delivered solutions to over 400 clients. He is responsible for technical excellence across the board. Ephibian has won numerous awards in the Arizona Business Community including the Arizona Technology Service Provider of the Year Award, the Business Journal’s Fast Tech 50 for one of the fastest growing technology firms in Arizona, The Arizona Small Business Association Companies to Watch Award, the National Speaker’s Association “Do Whatever It Takes Team” Award for Customer Service, and many others. Lee continues to receive personal recognition from the projects he works on, including a Letter of Commendation from the Army's Chief Information Officer, Lieutenant General Boutelle, Commander Award from Brigadier General Smith, Commander of the U.S. Army 5th Signal Command, Certificate of Appreciation from Major General Justice, Military Leader of the Year 2010, Letter of Appreciation from Brigadier General N. Lee S. Price, Deputy Program Manager Future Combat Systemsand multiple IEEE Outstanding Achievement Awards. Prior to Ephibian, Lee served as a lead Security Systems Engineer for the U.S. Army working on many national and worldwide Army and DoD Management Information initiatives. These solutions had to conform to military and DoD security standards. As the head of a security audit team within the Army, he personally identified the key factors that turned around a billion dollar major Army Reserve program. He was responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of computer and network security associated with the premiere enterprise management system for the Army's Network Systems Operations Center. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona. Lee is currently a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. |
